Carbean can be a base from which to visit Leslie Dam, Coolmunda Dam, Coolmunda Olives, Inglewood, Warwick and Stanthorpe wineries and surrounds. Karara Hotel and Gore Roadhouse are a short drive away.

The property has some historical sites and buildings which can be visited at the homestead and a short drive onto the property.
